I have so much to blog about after our 10 day trip to North Carolina, and all that will come soon. But first I would like to post my 2009 To Do List. It’s like a New Year’s resolution, but more fun. There are no career goals here. I so completely over think my career (imagine air quotes around that word) all year long that it will be nice to get way from it for one blog post.

Alison’s 2009 To Do List:

  • Visit Miss Emilie in New York City.
  • Go to Hawaii (this one inspired by friend, Andy, who says it’s worth going into debt for a trip to Hawaii.)
  • Hike.
  • Obtain flexibility and muscle tone by doing pilates regularly.
  • Develop style (not fashion) while giving as little of my money possible to socially and environmentally irresponsible corporations.
  • Read more: topics of priority include the Bible; Revelation especially. I feel it is probably one of the most misinterpreted books of the Bible. Also, books on costume design and independent film making. (Okay, that one is a little career-related, but I’ll be sure and read plenty of novels to balance it out!)

That’s all I can think of for now. More posts coming soon.

I like your last one — if you are interested, Hans is leading a Bible Study on Revelation at our church - Thursdays at 6:30pm :) Even if you can’t come, I am sure he would be happy to share with you his notes - he’s done a lot of research on the topic.

Oh I missed this one!!! I’m first on the list?!?! wow! Well, I’ll set some alerts up for flights from lax to nyc. If you want to find some cheap flights, go to http://www.airfarewatchdog.com/ Seriously, it has helped be to get so many cheap flights. I got home for thanksgiving and Christmas for only $150 round trip and flew to san fran for like $275 (and that was one of the more expensive ones because we couldn’t budge on the days). My mom finds cheap flights to Hawaii all the time, esp from CA. So budget well this year, and all you need is a little bit to travel. :) Oh and it also helped me find a 4 star hotel in san fran for $90 a night. :)

anyway… can’t wait to have you here! Make sure it’s during the spring, summer, or fall. Winter is pretty miserable here, unless you want to come and see all the Christmas lights. :)

PS. Hawaii is amazing and you DEFINITELY have to go. I went to Kauai, the least inhabited of the islands (except for the 1 island people aren’t allowed to visit).
