Fail blog This one is so completely self-explanatory that once you see it, you’ll see how I can derive hours of entertainment from it.
Linked In This is a professional networking site. It’s very detailed, so it took me awhile to finish my profile. But the information is so well organized, I was able to view all the Linked In members that were at Gardner-Webb while I was there, and request they join my network. How cool is that?
Ten Thousand Villages I am planning to do a lot of my Christmas shopping here. There’s a store in Pasadena, and we’re planning a trip out there this weekend. The company imports fair trade, artisan-made products. It reminds me of Costplus World Market, but with a conscience. (Actually, I know nothing about World Market’s business practices, so I shouldn’t say anything negative…) Ten Thousand Villages was recommended by my friend Keeley who works at the Princeton, New Jersey store. Check out the website to see if there’s a location in your area.
Reasons you should stay tuned to beautifulsorta.net: I am looking for some guest bloggers to mix things up a little bit. (If you’re interested, let me know!) Also, pics of our miniature Christmas tree coming soon.
