I am working on co-designing costumes for a movie still in pre-pre-production. I was doing research online and came across these two videos that I thought were worthy of sharing. They’re music videos of the same song, one performed by Willie Nelson and one performed by Dave Matthews. I’ve never been hip (or hippie) enough for either Willie Nelson or Dave Matthews, but I like this song and these videos. Now I am thinking I should look for more Willie Nelson.
Normally I think music videos are silly and don’t serve much purpose except providing thoughtless entertainment for bored (and boring) afterschoolers. But these videos are beautiful if not dense in content. The imagery was useful in my costume design, at least. Hope you enjoy!
I don’t know where you get your videos, but they are never available by the time I get to them
I could see the vids. Even in Germany we know this Willie, but I have never come across his music. Quite nice video, little bit sad, but worth watching!
