Today I got free head shots made at Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts in Burbank. A sweet girl named Alexa did my make-up for two looks: one natural, one sexy. This was her final exam at beauty school. In return for volunteering as a model I got a CD of all the photos they took of me. (Insert shout-out to photographer here: Holly Eschrich Photography!)
I think it’s safe to say I have never had more make-up on my face. You can’t tell from the pictures, but in person it looked like she’d applied it with a pallette knife. Ridiculous. It’s not all her fault though. I have very dark circles under my eyes and a break out around my nose that she completely covered up. Anyway, here are some of the photos. Keep in mind they have not been color corrected or anything like that—they are straight out of the camera.
There are tons more but I think more would be overkill.
If you are reading this, thank you! Tell your friends! I’ve been using Google analytics to track the traffic to this site. (Thank you tech-savvy husband.) I’ve had visitors from California, Washington, Minnesota, Florida, North Carolina (of course), Virginia, and Tennessee.
Keep it coming!

Wow, if you view them all the large size, they’re pretty much life-size. I was like, “Whoa! There’s Allison in my face!”
I like the black shirt pics better. I’m assuming that was the natural one.
I like the ones in black as well! Good on you for getting the shots for free; I do my new ones on Thursday!
Yes, Josh tried to tell me not to post the full size file but it looked fine on my screen so I did anyway. What does he know, he’s only a graphic designer!
So far the black t-shirt is winning over the green dress. Thanks for the input! Good luck on your photo shoot, Broadus!
verrrry nice!!! im jealous. i want free headshots…
Looks like fun! I love the natural look, but I also like the eye make-up in the other one. I never know what to do with my eyes.
Hey! I´ve checked your page out from Argentina. Did that show up on the google analysis? The pics are great & the photograopher had a beautiful model to work with!
Thank you! I will check the analytics map tomorrow and see if it registers Argentina. How exciting!
